AVAL means "Apple" in Breton, the traditional language of Bretagne, France. This region has been producing cider for more than 1,000 years and it is touted by industry insiders as the best in the world! Both of our ciders, AVAL Gold and AVAL Rosé, are the result of natural fermentation of the juice of multiple varietals of apples, all grown, harvested, and pressed at our farm in the heart of Bretagne, France. The result of natural fermentation of 100% pure apple juice (never from concentrate!), AVAL is 6% ABV and contains no added sugar or sweetener. Our fantastic artisanal French ciders are also naturally gluten-free. Santé!
